Zepology

Visit the Website

Zepology is a high-energy tribute band that needed a bold, modern website to showcase their music, upcoming shows, and media. With no existing site in place, I led the end-to-end design and development process — from researching similar band websites and creating Figma mockups to building a fully responsive site using React and Tailwind CSS. The goal was to give Zepology a digital home that matched their on-stage presence and made it easy for fans and venues to connect.

1. Establishing the Vision

Zepology didn’t have an existing website, so the first step was to understand their goals and audience. I researched websites of similar rock tribute bands and shared reference designs with the stakeholder to align on a direction and tone that felt true to Zepology’s energy.

2. Research & Moodboarding

I gathered visual and structural inspiration from several music and performance-based websites. The goal was to capture a bold, energetic feel while keeping the site usable and informative. Once we aligned on a general look and layout, I moved into wireframing.

4. Building with React & Tailwind CSS

The site was developed from scratch using React and Tailwind CSS, which allowed for a fully custom layout and fast iteration. I made sure the site was mobile responsive, with scalable components that looked great across devices.

3. Designing in Figma

I created detailed Figma files for both desktop and mobile views. The designs focused on clarity, strong typography, and visual impact — making space for upcoming show dates, media, and band information while keeping the aesthetic true to the rock vibe.

5. Testing & Delivery

I tested the site across screen sizes and refined layout and interaction details to ensure everything felt polished and functional. The final result was a bold, responsive website that gave Zepology a solid online presence tailored to their brand.
